Marketing Automation Specialist

We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to take our campaigns to the next level! In this role you will manage all technical aspects of marketing automation and reporting for one of the fastest growing companies in Dallas. The ideal candidate is a data enthusiast with project management experience and great critical thinking skills.

The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing team through operational projects and tasks in the following areas, but not limited to: organizing marketing data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), creating various automations to help with marketing efforts, connecting digital campaigns to the CRM, Google Analytics analysis and reporting, and various pixel setups.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

  • Effectively manage concurrent projects of varying size and scope across different lanes that Marketing supports
  • Manage and organize marketing data in the CRM
  • Manage marketing reports and dashboard inside the CRM
  • Automate various marketing activities including email, lead scoring, alert creation, pushing prospects to sales, and more
  • Manage and make recommendations about the marketing technology stack
  • Own the technical management of marketing campaigns 
  • Conduct market research on potential products and compile customer and referral partner profiles
  • Provide insights on how marketing can be improved through data analysis
  • Quickly identify and remediate issues 
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director and the Marketing Manager on important projects
  • Other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by management


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field
  • Minimum of 2 years in managing marketing data 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with marketing automation 
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience


Other Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Salesforce
  • Experience with email and customer journey automation
  • Strong data management and organization skills
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Superior problem solving skills
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to manage projects and lead in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong ability to analyze data and draw accurate conclusions 
  • Ability to organize and manage priorities; demonstrated time management and prioritization skills 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pardot experience preferred
  • Zapier experience preferred
  • Experience with managing numerous external partnerships
